General Maintenance Worker
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a General Maintenance Worker - School/Higher Education to become a part of our team! You will perform necessary work to keep the beautiful and modern campus in good order.
This full time (40 hours weekly) opportunity offers varied duties every day, working in a positive and thriving environment.
Responsibilities:
Repair minor issues with equipment and buildings Complete general maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion Set up and break down of classroom furniture for special events.
Maintain a clean and a safe workspace and grounds.
Delivery of supplies Perform other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to handle physical workload.
Have a good driving record and a valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Some flexibility is needed with regard to work schedule - there might be some weekend or evening hours occasionally for special events at the school, such as open houses or graduation.
Please note:
this school in not on a bus line - must have reliable transportation.
Medical/Health care benefits provided.
$17.
50 per hour.
