You are bidding on an antique pine sideboard cabinet. A picturesque farmhouse pine kitchen pantry cabinet or jelly cupboard was hand crafted about 1850. Sturdy shelves would have held home cooked jams and jellies from the fall harvest. The door has a raised panel and carved pegs at the joints.The restored finish is in excellent condition, satiny/waxed condition, on this hand-made primitive furniture. There are the prerequisite losses, ancient wormy wood, stains and wear, for that desired antique character. Age: circa 1850 ; mid-late -19th century Condition: Excellent for age. Sturdy and well-built. Age-typical wear; stains, old cracks, tracks, gaps, and other blemishes and imperfections, which are commensurate with age and do not impact the function of this original pine sideboard. Loads of patina, and loads of folky, hand-crafted charm. Please use photographs to as your primary guide as to condition.
